Vacation Bible Camp was a wonderful experience for children and adults alike. We sang, we danced, we ate, we created colorful crafts, we enjoyed fresh air and sunshine and we all became friends!!!

What a tremendous way to share Christ's love and worship in church in a different (and child friendly) way. Fortunately, we were overflowing with campers but due to space concerns our waiting list longer than we wished.

There was no time for boredom and even less time for complaining. Everything was "ship-shape" as we sailed across the ocean waves each day with a song, bible verse and a new bible "buddy". We have invited all those who don't already have a church of their own to join us each Sunday as we embark on new voyages and programs this fall.

In addition to all the fun and games the kids participated in, they have contributed:

• 4 baskets of food to the Kennebunk food bank!
• Comforting hand-knotted fleece blankets to children of Zambia!
